Dixie’s Sixty is run by two die hard Evertonians. Here’s a rundown of them both.
Ed

Ed got time off school when Duncan Ferguson left the club, and it was an early lesson in heartbreak. Ed missed out on the brilliant team of the 80′s and only really became aware of Everton during the glum 90′s. He was there when Rooney scored his famous first league goal against Arsenal – and also down at Highbury when that loon tried to swap shirts with Alex Nyarko.
Pete

The only time Pete’s ex-wife has seen him cry was when he saw Gary Lineker in a restaurant. A more mature Evertonian than Ed, Pete loves Colin Harvey and Alan Ball – and remembers Gordon Banks yelping “Gerrup and Gerra goal” at Goodison. He saw Astle score ‘that’ goal at Wembley and remembers “like it was yesterday” a hirsute Howard Kendall making his debut at Goodison.
